Chi Chi London Seraphina dress
Fen and I took full advantage of the crazy weather a couple of days ago during the wedding weekend of the year. The dress I wore is by Chi Chi London and is called 'Seraphina'. Chi Chi ( is an online store from which you can order occasion dresses, with sizes ranging from Petite through to their Curve range. All dresses have sewn in padded cups to support the wearers, and maximise comfort. I loved the mesh neckline to this dress, and not having to go through the struggle of looking for a matching bra made the day a whole lot better.

Corset Story

Corset Story brocade skirt, Hawes and Curtis shirt, Vintage Valentino kitten heels
We're currently in the middle of wedding season, and so there isn't a better time to try something new to add a little magic to your outfit. Occasion separates are a good way to get the most out of your wardrobe, by re-styling pieces as opposed to outfits. I paired my beautiful brocade skirt from Corset Story with a classic white button down, for a slightly dressier event than originally anticipated. However, the skirt made me feel like a princess, and moved so beautifully throughout the evening, with the shimmer catching the light and making so many heads turn.

Midweek Beauty: Nails Inc Portobello Terrace

Nails Inc Superfood NailKale Base Coat and Portobello Terrace

Starting my one of many nails posts to come as I have started to grow my nails out again. This colour is Portobello Terrace from Nails Inc's Spring Summer Coconut Brights Gel effect nail polish collection. This colour is a Sky Blue pastel, from a self-described range of sports-luxe inspired tropical brights. The formula is the most opaque of all the shades in the mini collection, and so what you're seeing is actually only one coat of the polish. The plumpness to this flawless finish is due to plasticiser technology, and enriched with a nourishing coconut water base- the reason for the "Coconut Brights" title. I found that the formula was highly glossy, and was completely dry within three minutes- staying true to its gel look claim, and gave professional salon quality without the need of a UV lamp.

Hawes & Curtis

Hawes & Curtis shirt, Wrangler jeans, Next sandals
A white shirt is a staple. I haven't had time to clear out my wardrobe properly since January due to my busy travel schedule, and as much as I'd like to keep everything that gets sent to me, I just do not have the space or days in a year to wear each item of clothing. I've been looking for some wardrobe staples to dress up or down. The first item being a white shirt from Hawes & Curtis- a luxury mens and womenswear range with over one hundred years of heritage.

In a sea of crop tops and high waisted leggings, there's still an area of the nineties that the fashion world has yet to bring back. The short sleeved shirt has been getting a bad reputation lately, and I'm here to bring it back. Mine is oversized and borrowed from my better half, tucked in to the perfect pair of mid-rise jeans, and shimmering in the light due to the silver eyelets adding a touch of detail to an otherwise basic shirt.

Black Lace

RED Valentino midi dress, A Weathered Penny ring, Harnesses by Nicole hair rings, Elie Beaumont watch
You may have seen this look on my Instagram, but I don't think I've ever shown this dress. This used to be my go-to evening dress, worn with a ballerina inspired bun, and 120mm black Pigalles, but after too many trips to the dry cleaner's the lace has started to curl and the hem on the chiffon has started to fray. Today, I paired it with my favourite Magnolia flip flops, and topped off a messy low pony with silver hair rings.

RED Valentino dress, Burlingham London Confluence 03
I'm not happy about having my sick face online but at the same time I'm not going to reshoot while ill. This RED Valentino dress is one of my favourites, it fits so well and the short sleeves make it feel a little bit more casual. I paired it with my Burlingham London watch from the Confluence collection, you can read my review of it on yesterday's post, it's available for pre-sale right now at

Burlingham London

I'm taking the Burlingham London pre-sale date as an opportunity to give you a small introduction to the brand. Burlingham London gives a contemporary variation on British heritage. Their Burlingham crown is a throwback to the 1829 gold sovereign used at the Oxford-Cambridge boat race, and their pieces are inspired by tweed fabrics. Their pieces are designed in a way that is completely unique to Burlingham, while still maintaining a classic look about them. Burlingham London has partnered up with Cool Earth so that all of their watches help to protect 200m2 of the Rainforest.
Burlingham London Confluence 03 (39mm)
I really wanted to capture the dial’s colour, it is a light silver with a hint of gold that almost reaches a pale champagne. The dial features sharp rose gold markers, matching the rose gold casing, and the buckle perfectly. If you are someone who obsesses over the hardware as much as we do, you will find that Burlingham pays a lot of attention to their branding details- so when one looks at the buckle, they’ll see the same engraved logo as the one on the stem.

When you look at the materials you find that they perfected the combination for classic and functional. The brown leather strap stretches over 246mm and is thick enough to minimise tell tale creasing and wear while still staying comfortable. The glass is made of scratch resistant Sapphire crystal with a double anti-reflective coating. The notch markers are on the outside of the watch, with the numbers written on the inner circle. It’s a small detail, but the minimal font along with the “00’ as opposed to the “12” at the top of the watch reminds wearers of the modern aspect of the brand.

The combination of the old and the new is apparent throughout and most of all, I really like the versatility of the watch. Tell me how you'd wear yours, and get £40 off your Burlingham London watch using the discount code: "ANA1", available for pre-sale now at
