Pixie Footwear Poppy Graphite boots, GAP jumper, TK Maxx dress, Reiss cape shrug, Guess jeans.
Friday is finally upon us, and for me it's the last day before Christmas parties start so i made sure I stayed as comfy as possible before having to dress-up to the nines for the next 27 days. I spoke a little about the Poppy boots* I'm wearing in yesterday's post, so if you have yet to check it out, then be sure to do so here.

The Poppy boots are probably my favourite shoes on the site, since they can be worn in two different styles. The first way to wear them is as a knee-high boot, as worn in yesterday's post. The second way to wear them is as a fur trimmed ankle boot. I live in ankle boots so this is a lot more my style. This is probably how they'll be worn from now on, since I've had a little bit more of a chance to get used to the cold.

You can get the Poppy boots in a variety of greys, camels, and chestnuts- be sure to check out the colour guide here. I chose "Graphite" it combines leather and suede in a colour between black and charcoal. As I mentioned yesterday, the boots are fully lined in faux fur, so they're extra snug to make you feel like you're wearing slippers on those long wintry walks.
Pixie have been nice enough to give us a 10% off discount using the code STYLE10 at check-out, which is amazing because all the boots on there are all under £100/$151.12.
Special thanks to Pixie Footwear for sponsoring this post.

One of my favourite styling tips for the season has to be layering light chiffon over chunky oversized knits. I especially love wearing this printed summer dress, over a doesn't-leave-the-home jumper with a comically huge high neck. Unfortunately my GAP jumper has now sold out but the Elliat Pleasure knit jumper is among some of this season's best turtlenecks.
