5 Days of Minimal Jewellery- Day 4

Jewellery doesn't have to stop at a dainty necklace or an earring, some of my favourite outfits have used some masculine brooches to add a touch of edge. Keen eyed readers may recognise that this is the same Roman coin brooch I wore during the last day of London Fashion Week on top of a longline navy and black fur vest. I tend to wear brooches with outerwear as opposed to knits or pretty dresses.
Theory blazer, Vintage blouse, Vintage brooch.
If anyone is stuck on new ways to wear a brooch, then here are my top 5 tips:
1. As a military touch to a fitted blazer.
2. Add an unexpected finish to fur.
3. Adorn a day-old messy bun.
4. Use a long brooch to secure a risqué neckline.
5. On top of a buttoned up collar. (Optional: two brooches can be used to make collar tips)
