Primark coat, Next blouse, Moschino hat, Guess bag, Tiffany & Co earrings, Guess bag, AG Jeans, Clarks boots.
My number one clothing related travel tip is to bring layers. There are days where I'll throw on and take off a hundred layers in order to find the perfect temperature; and then there are others where a simple wool(?) coat- worn open or closed, will do the job. I purchased this coat a couple of years ago, and fell in love with the colour and its obviously-faux fur collar. I've always been a 60s baby but couldn't turn down a good 70s inspired coat.
You can get always get some good mustard coats on the high street, some of my favourites being a Faux Fur Collar wool blend coat from Topshop (£95), and a Bouclé Wool Coat from Mango (£69.99). But if you're after something less permanent with a bit more pizzazz, some services like Rent-The-Runway* are definitely worth looking into. Not only can you rent garments for a fraction of the price, AND have the option of buying the pieces you love so much- the very definition of 'try before you buy', but you can also subscribe to their 'Unlimited' service for only $99/£65.76 a month, for unlimited clothes and accessories. Below are just two of my picks to get the look using Rent-The-Runway.
If you're after a shorter more fitted style, the Ardent Jacket by TY-LR ($60/£39.85 rental*) is 100% cotton, and fitted for an hour glass or petite shape. For those less daring, but still after a pop of yellow, then this Seaside Pea Coat by 10 Crosby Derek Lam ($150/£99.63 rental*) is a winner.
Underneath, I wore a simple white and grey patterned chiffon blouse, and matching grey AG Jeans. Finishing the look off with an oversized logo ridden Guess tote, leather Moschino hat, and some beautiful stud earrings from Tiffany & Co.
Check out how I styled yesterday's Tiffany & Co studs in yesterday's post, and watch the video below to view Tiffany & Co's new 'Return to Tiffany' campaign. Be sure to share your 'Return to Tiffany' pictures online by tagging @tiffanyandco, using the hashtag #ReturnToTiffany*.
