The Unexpected

Japanese culture depicts the nape of the neck to be the focus of attraction. Provocative dressing is not often thought of when one thinks of a Geisha, but the small patch of bare skin on the neck was more than enough to showcase female sensuality. This blouse was on my wish-list as soon as it was in store in Zara, so I jumped on it straight away. Khaki is an understated colour, but the suede fabric and chain detail on the back elevated this top, and turned it into a statement piece.
