You know Lyla, right?

Shein* Coat, Céline Blouse.
Lyla Loves* Bracelet.
Topshopjeans, Isabel Marant boots.

Continuing with my love for Lyla Loves today, and nearly blinding myself along the way. (I thought it was winter?) Well, now that I've been experiencing the climate at a measly twenty-something level, I can finally start to wear this faux shearling/suede coat. Shein sent me Steven Hyde's dream outerwear, to make the most of That 70s Trend. Having regretfully passed-up many of my mother's flares, and constantly walking through still-autumnal hues reminiscent of the appeal of the 70s palette- and I gave in to orange. I came across this vintage Céline blouse at a swap meet in Sydney earlier on in the year, the bracelet is from one of my UK faves: Lyla Loves and was just recently featured in Friday's post so if you want to find out why I love this dainty little orange bracelet so much, just click on the link above. Speaking of orange, I've started to use Zassni's Carrot Tan Jam which starts working from the moment you put it on your skin, and just happens to be absolutely amazing.

Back to Backless

It's very easy to get into a winter rut, one of the most popular questions in my inbox is "how to dress in winter without going the jumper and leggings route". It's pretty easy to get lazy and unmotivated at this time of year, so I try to incorporate some colour into my wardrobe, or think of a new way to wear the items that are in rotation.
Shein shirt (worn backwards), Zara Men scarf, Zara belt, Lyla Loves* bracelet.
Navy is one way to incorporate colour into your wardrobe during winter. So instead of going through the usual cable knit jumper and -ahem- jeggings, route, I get creative with some things, like this shirt from Shein- formerly, and wear it backwards, along with a bow made from my boyfriend's skinny scarf.

Introducing Lyla Loves

Today, I'm introducing you to Lyla Loves, one of my favourite online jewellery shops from the UK. One thing you'll notice about them is their unique pieces. As someone who exclusively wears delicate pieces, I was lucky enough to get some sample goodies before these pieces went up on their website.
The items arrived in a pink envelope with the Lyla Loves logo and two watermark stickers. The parcel came with a personalised hand written note card to you from Lyla. Each item is individually wrapped and held in place by an elastic binder to prevent any damage.
The pieces are so pretty, the blue cord is doubled up to support a matte gold metallic bar. The cord thread makes it perfect for stacking, or even just using it for a pop of colour.
The orange bracelet is a beautiful summer piece, it's a delicate gold bangle wrapped in a burnt orange thread, its fastening is a feature in itself: a dainty gold chain hangs from one side to another and finishes in a small orange tassel.

Liked the pieces? Shop them by clicking on the individual item links below.

Blue Cord Bar Bracelet £3.00*
Orange Cord Wrapped Tassel Bracelet £4.80*

Lyla Loves ships worldwide, gives free domestic shipping on orders over £15, and free international shipping on orders over £20.
